A group exhibition exploring select ways in which artists choose to abstract certain notions of Blackness through the omission or re-framing of matter that for them has a distinct cultural relation and concern, and by which they hope to broaden the spectrum of work by artists of Black descent attempting to manage the delicate balance of both transcending and retaining history.
